Is it too late for a second chance at their own happily ever after?

Seventeen-year-old Sara Davis wanted nothing more than a Christmas wedding to the love of her life, but somehow it just wasn’t meant to be. Fast forward thirty years and one divorce later, and she finds herself face to face with her high school sweetheart: the father of the groom at her daughter’s engagement party.

That’s right. Her daughter is marrying his son, and as they work side by side to rebuild Sara’s inn in time for their kids’ Christmas vows, a flame is rekindled.

Can they make things work this time around?

While this story is overall upbeat and positive in nature, with romantic elements that are appropriate for all ages, the story does touch on a few subjects that you may want to be aware of before reading:

POV: Looking for a small town where I can fall in love with Christmas and save what’s left of my writing career. #Desperate #I’veTriedEverythingElse #SendHelp

Maisie Carmichael, Queen of Christmas Romance, needs to write a bestseller in two months, or her writing career is over. She moves to the small town of Pinecone Grove, hoping to rekindle her love of Christmas before it’s too late.

Enter neurospicy museum curator Ivan Flint. His plans for a crowd-drawing exhibit have fallen through, and he needs to come up with a replacement—and fast.

Maisie and Ivan agree to be research partners as she writes a novel and he creates an exhibit based on the same historical blizzard. They are both determined to ignore the sparks between them because their careers are more important than a Christmas fling… but eventually, their feelings can no longer be denied.

Will Maisie finally write her own happily ever after?
